1) Verbs Phrase
verb phrase is the portion of a sentence that contains both the verb and either a direct or indirect object (the verb’s dependents).

Examples :

1. My mom is fixing us some breakfast.
2. Hwas walking quickly to the office.

2) Tenses
* Past Simple Tense
The Past Simple tense is sometimes called the "preterite tense". We can use several tenses and forms to talk about the past, but the Past Simple tense is the one we use most often.

Examples :

You called Fajar.
Did you call Fajar.
You did not call Fajar.

* Future Simple Tense
The Future Simple tense is often called the "will" tense because we make the Future Simple with the modal auxiliary verb will.

Examples :

You will help him later.
Will you help him later.
You will not help him later.

* Present Simple Tense
The Present Simple tense is the most basic tense in English and uses the base form of the verb (except for the verb be).

Examples   :

I’m tweenty two years old.
She lives in Seoul.
I’m a Lecturer.

3) Subject & Verb Agreement

* A singular subject (she, Bill, car) takes a singular verb (is, goes, shines), whereas a plural subject takes a plural verb.
Example: The list of items is /are on the desk.
If you know that list is the subject, then you will choose is for the verb.

Two singular subjects connected by or, either/or, or neither/nor require a singular verb.
Examples:

My Brother or my Sister is arriving by bus wednesday.
Neither Sherly nor Mina is available.
